Try a Different Fold

Hi again! This is my 2nd post today, for my FOR FUN post please scroll down.

As you probably know, I LOVE Michelle Perkett's images, and try my best to join in with the challenges every week over at Michelle Perkett Studios. This week is a wonderful challenge, it's TRY A DIFFERENT FOLD! Well, I am partial to different folds, so I HAD to join in! I wanted to challenge myself to try something I've never done before, so I went for a triangle trifold card. Here it is.

I followed a very simple tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers and this was really easy to make. This is what it looks like OPENED UP.

The image is called Mary Mary, and you can find her in Michelle's Etsy shop HERE. I coloured her with Promarkers and cut her out using my nesties. The DPs are freebies by Kate Knight Totally Tropical Summer collection.

It all folds up and ties with a ribbon to hold it closed....my ribbon is turquoise organza, from my stash. I added a few die cut flowers and leaves to tie in with the tropical flowers on the DP to finish.
