UPDATE: Yay! This card made Top 3 at Just Some Lines!

today has been cold, windy and more like late-Autumn than mid-August, but it didn't stop me from making a summertime card!
I used a fabby image called Stella the Summer Storyteller from Michelle Perkett Studios. I thought she was perfect for their Summertime Fun challenge this week :D I bought her a couple of weeks ago, on the July blog-hop day, when Michelle had a 50% sale (yay!)
I chalked the background using shimmer chalks then coloured it using Promarkers.
My papers are freebies from magazines, by Pink Petticoat (Wild Blossoms) and My Minds Eye (Summer Papers.) I made some paper flowers (daisies) and made the sentiment on the computer using Minya Nouvelle font.
I added a couple of corner flourishes and flat-backed pearls to complete.
I will enter my summery card in a few challenges:

- Creative Inspiration #65 - Summertime.
- Catch the Bug - Anything Goes.
- Just Some Lines - Summertime/Outdoors.
