We want to FEEL it this week!!!!

This week's theme over at THE CRAFTY PAD is

TEXTURE

We want to see lots of it on your creations this week.....we need to FEEL it!!! I am really excited to see what ideas you all come up with, and if you need some ideas and inspiration, then pop over to the challenge blog and take a look at the fabby DT creations.

Here's my offering for this week:

It's a bucket planter. Inside is the compost and seeds to plant. I removed the cardboard sleeve that it was in when I bought it, and made my own from Kraft card and decorated it. The image is called Polly with Flower and is from The Crafty Pad Designs shop, along with loads of other wonderful images.

As you can see, I've used a plethera of different things to create texture, from wired ribbon to buttons, to a silver butterfly...I even punched a border around the Kraft card and threaded it with funky fibres. The gorgeous purple flower was made by the lovely Leesa (aka The navy wife) my DT buddy from TCP. The image is coloured with my Promarkers. I love the sentiment, which I believe is from TLC. I'm saving this to give as a gift to a friend....the seeds are for large poppies; I can't wait to see them!
