I can't believe it's Sunday again already ! The good news is that as always, Sunday brings with it a brand new challenge over at THE CRAFTY PAD for you to get your teeth into, and today is no exception. Loving the theme this week, which is......(drum roll please...)
* DIFFERENT STYLES OF CARDS *
Which means we want to see anything OTHER THAN a basic single fold card.....eg. Easels, spring cards, steppers, gatefold, diamond-top, double-diamond, teepee.....ooooh the list could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the idea !
Our wonderful sponsor this week is CRAFTY RIBBONS with a fab selection of 'Summer Holiday' ribbons up for grabs.
This week I have made another teepee card (I'm really loving them at the moment !) using one of the recent releases from THE CRAFTY PAD DESIGNS. This cute image is called Polly with Poodle, and you can get her HERE.
I used pearlescent card and my BPs are from various sets, purchased from scrapbookingmad.com. They are matted onto cream pearlescent card. The image has been coloured with Promarkers and cut out, then attached to a layered nestie to make a topper.
The sentiment is from THE CRAFTY PAD DESIGNS and I have replaced the rose image in the centre with a doggy paw print, and re-coloured it pink, to match the card.
I used a ribbon to hold the card in a standing position, and if you untie it the card can be folded flat for posting :)
There are some fabby examples created by the mega-talented DT over on the blog including some styles I'll put money on you NOT having come across before, so PLEASE go and check them out and leave a comment to show your appreciation!
I am going to enter the following challenges with my teepee card:
- Charisma Cardz #26- Ice Cream Colours ... (mine is Raspberry Sorbet!)
- Digi Doodle Shop #65- Anything Goes.
- The Paper Shelter #20- Anything Goes.
- Top Tip Tuesday #40- Beginning with 'T' - ('TEEPEE' card.)
- Creative Stamp Friends #28- Dots.
- Stamps R Us - 'There Was a Little Girl...'
- Stamp n Doodle - Animals/Nature. (I hope my little poodle qualifies?)
Thanks so much for popping in, have a wonderful Sunday!
