Summer's FINALLY Here!

It looks as if Summer might FINALLY be here, and there are lots of Summer/Beach-themed challenges out there, including one of my faves....MICHELLE PERKETT STUDIOS....'Let's Go To The Beach! I used 3 of Michelle's images to make my card: Olive, Leilani and a freebie, Lydia, all of whom can be found in Michelle's Etsy shop or on her challenge blog.

I coloured the images with Promarkers and added some sand beneath their feet. I chalked the background, although you can't really see that in the picture. The DP is Papermania Masculine range and the cardstock is Bazzill. I cut some flowers and added card candy to the centres. The navy ones were the right colour, but the light blue and orange ones began life as white ones, I coloured them with my Promarkers to match the DP.

I will enter my card into the following challenges:
And don't forget, this Saturday is the HOLIDAY BLOG HOP at MPS too......please come and join the fun!

Thanks for popping in!

Ali,
You commented on my blog about the DP (beach umbrellas)on my card today. I forgot to put it on my post. The DP i bought at our local Hobby Lobby, but it has a Frances Meyer, Inc label on the back with a web address of www.francesmeyer.com
Thank you,
Deonna
