My oldest son, Toby, was off to a friend's 11th birthday party today, and I have been so busy I'd forgotten to make the card....aarrgghh!!!! So, this afternoon, in between everything else that had to be done, I made a super-quick card, which turned out not half bad, even if I do say so myself!!!
The image was a freebie from a google search, and is coloured with Promarkers. I also added a number 11 to his shirt, as it was his 11th birthday!
I cut two layers using my labels nesties, the blue one from a Nitwits BP and the other from red cardstock. I then ran the red one through my Bigshot with a Happy Birthday embossing folder. The football BP was also a digi freebie which I've had for ages. The sentiment was made on the computer using the font Scruff LET. Edges were inked, a button added, and with a few foam pads and some DST, it was done!
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
- Creative Craft World - Card for a Male
- Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes (+ something old.....I used my Happy Birthday embossing folder....one of the 1st items I bought when I started cardmaking!)
- Scrap Creations - Kids
- Creative Inspirations Paint - Birthdays
Thanks for looking, and Happy Crafting!
