...............GOOOOAAAALLLL!!

Well, Toby is off to a party/disco this evening, gave me strict instructions as to which jeans, top etc he was wearing, and will expect them to all appear as if by magic ironed and waiting on his bed in a few short hours!

The GOOD news, is that it gives me an excuse to get creative and make a card for the boy whose party he's going to.....not that I need an excuse, but it keeps the other half quiet as I spread my stash far and wide!

As its for one of the boys on the footie team he plays for, it HAD to be a footie-themed card, and I send huge thanks to my friend DAWN for the inspiration on this one, she made one of these and as soon as I saw it I just KNEW I'd be pinching her fab idea!

As you can see, its an easel card, with a footie pitch background, and a footie player (Kenny K) stood in the goal net. The ticket sentiment is a freebie and the name/age tag I made on the computer. I coloured him in with Promarkers to match the kit of their team, Baddesley Knights (although I really needed a navy pen, but had to make do with Cool Grey 3 and Royal Blue mixed!)

Of course I had to stop myself from adding any flowers, ribbon, glitter etc. I was strictly forbidden by a 10 year old!!! My thanks once again to Dawn, great idea which I'm sure will go down well!

I 'd like to enter my card into The Crazy Challenge - Happy Birthday.

Thanks for looking, and Happy Crafting!
