Today's card is made using a beautiful image called 'Little Rapunzel.'
I followed a sketch today, as I wanted to make something special for a special friend....I've started saving images of sketch layouts in a file so that when I am stuck for inspiration I simply take a browse and choose something I think will suit what I want. The main colours are blue and lemon, and the paper I've used has stitching in it.
I chose it so that I could enter the following 3 challenges:
Crafty Cardmakers challenge #33 AND The Crafty Pad challenge #95, & Delightful Challenges where the themes are ALL STITCHING.
The photos below hopefully show the stitching a bit more clearly....
Other elements used were papermania BP (which I used to create the flowers on the card too,) card from my stash, along with gems. The sentiments are computer generated, using the Angelina font. Edges have been inked and the image coloured with Promarkers.
I would also like to enter this card into the Pixie Dust Studio Challenge #47....'Pretty Colours.
Don't look too closely at the shapes.....I REALLY need some nesties for Xmas, my freehand cutting skills are terrible!!! I hope my friend doesn't notice!
Have a great weekend everyone, I am off visiting family on the Isle of Wight tomorrow :)
